So this is kinda unusual… a beautiful soft coral/salmon stretch wool suiting! 96% Wool, 4% Spandex, soft hand, good drape, smooth texture – feels a bit like a cotton sateen. Really nice, tight, even, weave. This is not what I would really consider a stretch fabric – it’s got a little bit of 4-way stretch – not much at all, just enough to give you a little bit of ease. This has a hint of ‘crispness’ to it, so I think this would be exquisite as a woman’s suit, men’s vest, trousers, pencil skirt, or even a tailored shirt.
Price per yard, about 63″ wide.
A note on color: This is a difficult color to photograph (you can see how different it looks in the 3 photos), so I took a swatch to Home Depot to find a paint swatch to match so you can get an idea of the exact color 😉 It’s a cross between Glidden’s “Painted Desert Red” (color card R50) and Behr’s “Sweet Cherry” (color # M150-7D)
A NOTE ON PRICE – due to changes in production, the wholesale price of this item has gone WAAY up. Therefore, we will not be getting more of this fabric in. Once we sell out this time, it’s gone for good.
