Very cool and unusual fabric! Gray melton jacketing with a fuzzy 3D windowpane of navy blue. Soft, great drape, tactile hand. Ideal for jackets, coats, and other outerwear.
Mill tag says “cashmere” without a percentage. This may be blended with wool, or it may be pure cashmere (high quality cashmere is soft, but not overly so. The hand of this one suggests to me either some wool blended in or some coarser cashmere (the finest comes from the undercoat of Inner Mongolian goats, the outer hairs and cashmere goats elsewhere produce what is considered to be less fine cashmere). The blue fuzzy bits seem to be wool too.
61″ Wide. Price per PIECE – TWO PIECES LEFT! One is 35″, and a bigger piece that has been sampled, so the fully intact part is 52″ wide, but then there is about 6-8″ more that has a piece cut off the edge. We do also have some limited yardage of this listed separately!
