Description

This
is a gorgeous maru obi (a kind of obi in which the design runs along the full
length of the fabric along both sides!) in beige with a lovely design of ox carts and pavillions (representing wealth and stability), under spreading pines and plum blossom (plants that symbolize winter), heavily accented with metallic gold and silver.
This vintage piece has some age patina, and may have some marks or discoloration.

What
to do with this other than wrapping it around your kimono? You can drape it on
the wall, make gorgeous cushions out of it, make a very chic table runner or place mats, use it in a garment, and more! Check out our FB page, Beautiful
Textiles, for some ideas.

NOTE: LAST PHOTO IS NOT COLOR-ACCURATE! But it does give you an idea of the full design.

About 12″
wide,  152″ long. Silk.

Colors may vary by monitor, we cannot guarantee
color.  This fabric has been inspected and is deemed to be in
excellent condition, however, please remember that it is vintage, and therefore
there may be spots or discoloration or fading or the faint smell of the
Japanese warehouse it came from.  We make every effort to find and
identify those problems, but there may be something we missed.  We
cannot accept returns, thank you for understanding.

SHIPPING NOTE: We charge a flat $5 fee PER ORDER in our eBay shop. It has come to our attention that eBay’s algorithm applies that inconsistently. If you are charged more than that, just check out as normal and PM us and we will refund any overcharge.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING NOTE: WE ONLY CHARGE YOU THE ACTUAL COST OF THE SHIPPING!! Ebay is not calculating this correctly, so we have put in a flat fee, BUT WE WILL REFUND YOU THE DIFFERENCE, OR BILL YOU FOR THE OVERAGE! Please contact us if you have any questions, and YES, we do combine shipping if you purchase more than one item!!
