Description
This is a wonderful printed cotton dobby (note the fabulous texturing in the close-up photo!) depicting an adorable smaller-scale design of diagonal rows of geisha, some carrying paper umbrellas, with clouds in the background, surrounded by gentle drifts of cherry blossoms (sakura), all lavishly accented in metallic gold. Geishas are about 5.5″ tall, and 2″ wide.
This is not the nubby texture usually associated with dobbies, but more like a polished cotton with satiney rounded stripes
This is one of our softest dobbies, and is perfect for dresses, shirts, quilts, home dec, little bags, and more!
