Gorgeous jelly roll of yarn-dyed cottons from Japan, featuring small checks. This fabric is very “country”, with a home-spun look, ideal for ‘rustic’ quilts and throws – or hop on the trend of quilt garments and stitch it up as a quilt top, then sew it into a garment!!
I took the ‘purple’ colorway and whipped together a small throw using a single jelly roll with no additional fabric (second photo). I love how it came out, it’s so cute, and the colors practically glow in the light! No filter or photo enhancement!! It took me just a couple hours to make the throw, this is so easy to stitch together!
Jelly rolls contain 20 strips that are 44″ x 2.5″. Sews up to be about 40″ square – with no additional fabrics.
