This is a wonderful printed cotton shirting/light duck cloth – the hand feels like a fine duck cloth, but the weight is like a very well-washed much-loved pair of light jeans. (Duck is smoother, lighter weight, and a finer weave, than canvas, but is similar. This is like a light denim weight.)
Really cute pattern of lucky cats – Maneki-neko, and little daruma dolls – both traditional Japanese symbols, the daruma doll represents perseverance and luck, while the beckoning cat also symbolizes bringing good luck to its owner. The two are often depicted together. COMPLETELY adorable and perfect for dresses, shirts, quilts, home dec, little bags, and more! Soft, with great drape.
