This is such a unique fabric! Black silk dupioni (the lightly textured one, shantung is the smooth one) with elegant Asian-style vases of flowers in shades of gray, and blue-gray, and white. Elegant, so chic and fabulous and high-fashion!!! Soft, slightly crisp hand, and drape that stands out from the body (washing will make it much limper and flatter). Wonderful for skirts & dresses, bodices, shirts and tunics, men’s vests and blazers (with interfacing), dusters and kimono, etc.
Vases run upright parallel to the selvedge.
