This is a wonderful reversible double gauze with a glen plaid in black and white, with dark green spots, which reverses to dark green with spots of glen plaid. I know the dots may look black in the photo, but trust me, they’re very dark green, as is the reverse side of the fabric. The blouse was made by Kokka, to show you how beautifully it stitches up!
Double gauze is a fabric that originated in Japan, made of 2 layers of cotton gauze, fused together with tiny stitches. It is very soft, light, airy, breathable, and so is perfect for summer clothes, baby blankets and wraps, and more! This fabric is opaque and does not need to be lined for most uses.
This fabric features the distinctive fine, tight, regular weave and teeny subtle grid of stitching on the back that the Japanese double gauze is known for.
