Stunning and dramatic satin! Rose gold base with silver over-print. This is so cool! The silver is a micro-perforated ‘sheet’ that is fused on to the rose gold base, so the rose gold faintly shows through under the silver. Slight stretch – across the grain 2″ stretches to 3.5″, the pleats run from selvedge to selvedge, so there is some stretch with the grain due to the ease of the pleats, there is no additional stretch.
This is commercially pleated (so these pleats won’t come out on your garment! They are in for good!) so you get the lovely figure-skimming flattering effects of a plisse, with fabulous flow and drape. This would be SPECTACULAR in something like a column gown (it would skim your figure and column gowns can be gorgeous on both curvy and straight figures!), or maxi skirt or full evening trousers….
Photos do not do this justice! This would also be stunning in a Fortuny-inspired gown or duster jacket!
