This is incredible! Fabulous felted wool woven in an open-work “holey” plaid. Note this really is open-work/holey! In other words, it’s lacey. So this should be used for applications that either don’t need lining (duster jackets, overlays) or plan on lining it. So cool!!! Fairly light, suiting-weight, with minimal fraying along cut edges (though you may want to stabilize cut edge hems). Selvedge is slightly irregular, so you will probably want to hem. No stretch.
Soft, great drape, this would make an amazing duster coat or tailored blazer, or overlay for a bias-cut skirt…. So many ideas!!
60″ wide. The vendor listed this as cashmere-blend, a burn test suggests pure wool/cashmere. Price per yard.
