Description
This
is a gorgeous maru obi (a kind of obi in which the design runs along the full
length of the fabric along both sides!) in cream with an elegant design of stacked diamonds, open fans, and cranes, lavishly accented with metallic gold and silver.
This vintage piece has some age patina, creasing, and some marks or discoloration (examples in the last 3 photos). Because of that, this piece is ideal for cutting up to use in projects.
What
to do with this other than wrapping it around your kimono? You can drape it on
