Vintage deadstock, this gorgeous brocade was discovered in the backroom of a designer who had bought the bolt for a collection, then never used it. Lucky for us, since this fineness is rarely found these days! From Italy, this is in golden yellow with silver metallic threads woven in a diamond pattern.
Burn test suggests silk, cotton, and metallic, but not positive.
