Description
This roll of kimono wool is a lovely deep navy blue with tossed flowers in red, yellow, white, and lighter blue, with white geometric accents in an ikat weave (where the fabric is dyed, taken apart, and then rewoven, resulting in a design with ‘fuzzy’ edges rather than sharp lines). Wight is relatively light, and faintly semi-sheer against the light.
Lovely, soft, vintage wool, possibly from the 1980s, in
excellent condition – from a new bolt (what’s called “deadstock” – a bolt that’s
never been touched so is a ‘new’ bolt, even though it’s vintage).
Colors may vary by monitor, we cannot guarantee color. This fabric has been inspected and is deemed
to be in excellent condition, however, please remember that it is vintage, and
therefore there may be spots or discoloration or fading or the faint smell of
the Japanese warehouse it came from. We
make every effort to find and identify those problems, but there may be
something we missed. We cannot accept
