Description
This roll of kimono wool is lovely, black with an ikat-weave floral pattern in red (where the fabric is dyed, taken apart, and then rewoven, resulting in a design with ‘fuzzy’ edges rather than sharp lines), creating a bolt where the design is the same on both sides, so ideal for garments where the reverse may show. Light weave, you can see light through when held up to the light. Ideal for spring or fall, or line for winter use in colder climes.
Lovely, soft, vintage wool, possibly from the 1980s, in
excellent condition – from a new bolt (what’s called “deadstock” – a bolt that’s
never been touched so is a ‘new’ bolt, even though it’s vintage).
14.75” wide, price is per yard.
Colors may vary by monitor, we cannot guarantee color. This fabric has been inspected and is deemed
to be in excellent condition, however, please remember that it is vintage, and
therefore there may be spots or discoloration or fading or the faint smell of
the Japanese warehouse it came from. We
make every effort to find and identify those problems, but there may be
something we missed. We cannot accept
returns, thank you for understanding.
SHIPPING NOTE: We charge a flat $5 fee PER ORDER in our eBay shop. It has come to our attention that eBay’s algorithm applies that inconsistently. If you are charged more than that, just check out as normal and PM us and we will refund any overcharge.
