If you aren’t familiar with tencel, boy, are you in for a treat! Tencel has the hand and drape of sandwashed heavy silk, but is an eco-friendly option made from cellulose fiber (so it’s natural, not synthetic) that is sustainable and uses less water in the dyeing than more conventional textiles.
In the last photo, you can see a kimono I made as a shop sample, and you can see how nicely it drapes, and hangs. It feels so nice on the body, too!!
