Very unusual, unique, fine, light, double-scalloped lace from France.
White lace with appliqued black circles, each centered with a tiny jewel (which is in a setting, not just sewn on!!!), double scallops are edged with the same black cording that is used for the circles.
I’ve never seen anything like this! Perfect for dramatic ball gowns, flirty dresses, lingerie, dressy jackets, and more!! This lace is a little stiff, but it may be only from the sizing and potentially could be washed out if you want a soft, close, drape.
Price for the whole piece – just over 3.6 yards. This is from a very high-end NY fabric store that recently closed. They were retailing this for $457/yard!! That is NOT a typo!!! Over $400. A. YARD!
